Default Slide Mt

Slide was good today. Bruce B., Steve G., and I flew. We were seeing altitudes of 14K+ and there were nice streets for going far, but we didn't have a driver. It was still a lot of fun just flying around out over the valley. The forecast for tomorrow looks even better although it will be an early launch kind of day to ensure getting off the hill before it overdevelops.

Oooh, the pain! I specifically didn't go to Slide Fri/Sat because I assumed the OD would happen too soon. The thunderheads looked scary-impressive from the Sacto valley by noon each day. I glad you got good flights in, but also jealous.

It has been od'ing every afternoon, but except for one day when I was the only one who got off the hill in time we have been getting in some good flying before the sky gets really ugly.
