Hello, name here is Rick. Wanted to fly ever since I can remember.Iam 54 yrs. old and happened to see for the first time a man locally here in southeast OK. flying a powered paraglider, and the search began. This was about four years ago.At that time I had never ever used a computer, and after being unable to find anyone who could tell me anything about what I had saw,and suggesting to get online I decided to learn how.Dont know how I ever made it without the internet but thats another story.I apologise for this long post but I feel this is the best way to introduce myself. After weeks of looking I decided on a powered parachute.Found a dealer within a couple hundred miles and went and purchased it with the understanding I would get training. After not finding any training locally I decided to fly it. BIG mistake.First flight I became a yard dart. After repair and a week of healing decided to try again. 2nd flight wasnt to bad but could not really enjoy it for worrying about landing. Knew nothing about flair.Flew straight in and landed decent. 3rd flight was on extremly humid day ,short story here was crash into treetops.Wife and kids pleaded to go no more. Fast forward to present. Just finished training in Tenn. Will be flying a trike with rotax 447 under Maverick 2 wing by Northwing. Once again sorry so long. RICK
