ahh, after weeks of bad weather we got a break, the weather was showing wsw so we were planning on going to hot springs hill. This morning I went out side and it was light wind, Steve said it didn?t look good out at his place yet so I hung out for a few hours, Steve S called said it was blowing ESE sure enough it was; I called Paul and he drove out (Steve S had to work so he couldn?t make it). We hike the gliders over to launch because the posts haven?t been moved yet (see other thread) then the bags started to show up and launch it was light but workable. I launched and it was light, I was sinking out went to the south end and got a nice thermal made some close turns and climbed back up a few hundred above the upper launch:eek: started drifting back to far didn?t want to get stuck back, I was flying my new school glider falcon 3 195 so I made a few passes back and forth but soon after I found my self on the ground, followed by the bags that were in the air. It started shutting down shortly after coco got a good climb at the same spot I did but didn?t get as high as I did:p. Paul launched and didn?t hit a bump but had a picture perfect cross/down wind landing. All in all it was a great day in Feb. warm, good flying. Looks like this season should be good!
