Hello!

I'm a H3 pilot living in Ridgecrest, CA (small town just south of the Owens valley on US 395). I fly a Moyes Xtralite 147.

It looks like there are many good Sierra XC sites and I am looking forward to flying with the NV pilots!

Hi, I'm Bruce Bousfield and I live in Reno. I moved here early in 2008 from the Bay Area. I'm originally from England.
I've been flying since 2000, I'm an H4 and fly a Litespeed RS3.5 and a 10m Pulse.

It's been a great experience becoming part of the Reno/Tahoe flying community, and I'm stoked that there seems to be new enthusiasm to preserve and improve our existing sites, and to explore new sites too.

I prefer not to use my full name on the internet, although I thought it was important enough to use it when pledging to the Slide guardrail project. I usually go by RM.

I've been flying since '94, and currently fly an ATOS VX. My home site is Mt. Diablo in the Bay Area, but I love to get to Reno when I can to fly Slide. Some of my favorite XC adventures have been from the Reno area, and I think Reno XC is greatly underrated.

Due to circumstances related to my aging parents, I've been flying Indian Valley more than ever before, even though it's deprived me of flying lots of other places during the summer month. I've only gotten to Reno a couple of times per year for the past few years, although I'm hoping for alot more.

Having said that, Indian Valley is my all-time favorite site for local flying. It's about 2 hours from Reno, and I'm hoping to get more Reno pilots to fly with. I also hope to get to know more pilots from Reno for the times when I'm able to fly there.
